To the Subsection \u201c<a href=\"\/en\/unification-thought\/epistemology\/unification-epistemology\/#2.3.1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Protoconsciousness<\/a>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The functions of the mind include intuition (sensibility), perception, cognition, thinking, inference, conception, planning, memory, pursuit of purpose, recollection, and aesthetic appreciation. Protoconsciousness possesses only some of these functions, such as the functions of sensibility, perception, and pursuit of purpose (purposiveness). Accordingly, protoconsciousness is the mind on a lower dimension.
